In the old days it was just a TV! But now we have plasma and
LCD panels, low and high definition screens, as well as rear and front projectors all of which can be very complicated for the un-initiated. However we keep ourselves up to date with the latest trends and screen technology. What we install, we stand by. As to which technology is the best and which one will last the longest? they are all about level at present and all the manufacturers are spending a lot of money in research and development and they're improving the products all the time.

The real test is what you see is what you get and if you like
what you see then buy it. Don't get overwhelmed by technical babble as a good screen will look good, sharp and colourful
and a bad screen won't.

If you are buying a flat panel it makes sense to mount it on the
wall. This method uses the least amount of space. It also makes sense to have a good sound system to compliment the picture, otherwise you will be watching in colour and listening in black and white.
